Proprietorship Registration  Document Checklist

1. Proof of Identity (for the proprietor)

   • Aadhar card, PAN card, or passport

2. Proof of Address (for the proprietor)

   • Utility bill, rent agreement, or bank statement

3. Business Address Proof

   • Rent agreement or utility bill in the business name

4. Bank Account Details

   • Cancelled cheque or bank statement of the business account

5. Photographs of the Proprietor

   • Passport-sized photographs (usually 2-3)

6. Tax Documents (if applicable)

   • GST registration (if the turnover is above the threshold), Income Tax Returns (ITR)

7. Business Name (Optional)

   • If the business name is different from the proprietor?s name, a name registration document

8. MSME Registration (Optional)

   • If applying for government schemes or funding, MSME registration can be included.

9. PAN Card of the Proprietor

   • Required for tax filings and business transactions
